Manufacturing industry will incur the costs in different departments as it involves lot of processes to make a product. The production manager needs to have a look on which department the cost incurs more. If he is able to reduce the cost in particular department by comparing with the previous year’s cost reports. After comparison the manager should be able to sell the product at low price by reducing the cost of production.
